Code of Conduct
The organizers of the 5th International Congress “Applied Sports Sciences” and the 21st FIEPS European Congress provide a safe, welcoming, productive, and inclusive environment for all participants.
We believe that the advancement of sports science, physical education, and health studies relies on the free, open, and respectful exchange of ideas. In alignment with the core values of sportsmanship and ethical scientific research, this Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behavior for all delegates, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and organizers.
☑ Unauthorized audio or video recording of entire sessions for commercial distribution is strictly prohibited.
In the spirit of Fair Play – both on the field and in academia – all participants are expected to:
☑ Treat all colleagues, staff, and attendees with respect, dignity, and professionalism;
☑ Value diverse perspectives and promote inclusivity, recognizing that sport and health are universal rights that transcend boundaries;
☑ Conduct scientific discussions with constructive feedback, intellectual honesty, and mutual encouragement;
☑ Promote and uphold the highest standards of integrity in research related to human movement, physical activity, and well-being;
☑ Respect the rules of the venue and local regulations during their stay in Sofia.
Anyone who witnesses or is subjected to unacceptable behavior is encouraged to report it immediately. You can approach the Organizing Committee directly at the Registration Desk on-site or contact us via the official congress email.
All reports will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
☑ Offensive, degrading, or aggressive comments (verbal, written, or on social media) related to race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or physical appearance;
☑ Disruption or intentional sabotage of lectures, workshops, or presentations;
☑ Plagiarism, intellectual property theft, or the deliberate presentation of falsified or unethical scientific/clinical data;
☑ Any behavior that undermines the health, safety, and well-being of other participants.
The organizers reserve the right to take any action deemed appropriate, including issuing a formal warning, expelling the offender from the congress without a refund of registration fees, and barring them from attending future events.
